VICTORIA PRENTIS MP TAKES ON NEW ROLE IN WESTMINSTER

Victoria Prentis, MP for North Oxfordshire, has been appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Ministers in the Department for Transport, including Rt. Hon. John Hayes MP. This new role will involve acting as a liaison between the Department and backbench MPs, and is often seen as the first step towards a Ministerial position.

Victoria commented: “I am thrilled to take on a PPS role so early in my Parliamentary career. It is an exciting new challenge in my life here at Westminster, and it will be a privilege to work alongside the extremely experienced MPs and Peers who make up the Department for Transport. I am really looking forward to getting started, and am very thankful for this opportunity to experience another side of political life.
