Banbury and Bicester Sainsbury’s have proved to be good locations for Victoria Prentis MP’s new ‘supermarket surgeries’.

The two surgeries that took place on 9 September and 16 September 2016, were held in the cafés in Banbury and Bicester’s Sainsbury’s stores. Surgeries provide an opportunity for constituents to discuss any issues they may be experiencing with their parliamentary representative. The two most recent surgeries were a great success, with many constituents dropping in to discuss a range of subjects with Victoria.

Victoria commented: “I have really enjoyed holding my supermarket surgeries over recent weeks in both Banbury and Bicester. Holding surgeries in a public place, such as a supermarket café, gives the opportunity for constituents to drop in and chat to me about important local or personal issues. They can also do their weekly shop, have something to eat at the café and don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to park for their appointment. Casework is a very important element of my role as Member of Parliament for North Oxfordshire and surgeries are an excellent point of contact for my constituents. I am very grateful to Sainsbury’s in Banbury and Bicester for allowing me to use their facilities. I look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Details of Victoria’s upcoming surgeries are published regularly on her website at
