In September 2020, a large number of constituents from the villages and communities surrounding Heyford Park got in touch to raise their concerns over the increasing traffic pressures coming as a result of Heyford Park.
As a local resident myself, I was only too aware of this problem and recognised that this was only going to get worse as the development continues. Dorchester were generous in offering funding for traffic calming measures and I welcomed this.
There were other areas still presenting problems, including the proposed Middleton Stoney bus gate, which I raised with Cherwell District Council.
It is important that that Highways and CDC continue to find workable solutions to the traffic problems facing the area.
