It really was lovely to attend the opening of Age UK Oxfordshire's memory garden bed at the Bridge Street Community Garden on Thursday. Nestled in the heart of Banbury, this wonderful space has been dedicated as a special place where people can meet and remember loved ones.
It was great to see so many at the garden including those who have attended Age UK’s bereavement support service groups and walks. I was honoured to be invited to plant a rose alongside the charity’s Chief Executive Officer, Penny Thewlis, marking the official opening of their new bed space.
I really would recommend that local residents make a visit.
