Many non-essential retailers have reopened their doors this week as lockdown restrictions ease and Banbury Town Centre is no exception.
All retailers are practicing excellent social distancing by making their shops accessible and spacious, welcoming card payments and offering hand sanitising facilities upon arrival. These measures protect staff and customers as we start to enjoy shopping again.
Many retailers Victoria visited today have adapted their services during lockdown to include deliveries and takeaways. As more customers return to high streets we must stay safe and shop local.
Victoria stated:
"It was great to see so many local, independent retailers reopening their doors as footfall on the High Street begins to increase. I picked up some local goodies, including my first draught ale in over 4 months! It is clear that a lot of preparation and thought has gone into the safety of shoppers and staff. I am sure this will continue as more shoppers return in the weeks to come."
Victoria visited: Doodledash Interiors, Abraxas Cookshop, David's Flowers, Belflair Chocolate Ltd, Sweet Celebrations Ltd, Lenny's Café & Bar, Banbury Bridal & Banbury Market.
