Today, all Plan B measures in England were lifted.
While this will be welcome news to many, we are not yet at the end of the road. As we learn to live with Covid-19, people should continue to exercise caution and follow safer behaviours where they can to protect our community.
NHS COVID Passes are now voluntary for large events and face coverings are no longer mandatory. Although, it is advised that people continue to wear one in enclosed or crowded spaces.
If you are meeting friends of family indoors, please let fresh air in and ventilate spaces. Meet outdoors if you can as it is safer.
Guidance to work from home if you can has been removed, and people working in the office are advised to speak to employers about return to the workplace.
Vaccination remains our strongest line of defence against this virus. It is important that those who haven't yet get their booster jab to give themselves additional protection. Please continue to get tested and self-isolate if required.
Looking ahead, the Prime Minister has stated that all current regulations related to Covid-19 will be reviewed by 24 March, subject to data and evidence on transmission of the virus.
