A number of constituents have got in touch with me about Great Western Railway’s new timetable from December.
Under the revised timetable, GWR will remove two rush hour services which are particularly popular with passengers travelling from Banbury and Heyford into Oxford. I know this has caused a lot of concern for those who rely on these services to get to work and school.
I have written to the Managing Director of GWR, Mark Hopwood, to raise local concerns about these changes and urge GWR to rethink their plans.
