PM announces easing of lockdown restrictions: 23 June 2020
On 23 June 2020 the Prime Minister announced further restrictions are being eased across England from the 4 July 2020. The announcement can be read here.
I know this is welcomed news for many constituents in North Oxfordshire, especially businesses who are looking forward to opening their doors once again. In particular, I know many hairdressers, pubs and restaurants across the constituency will welcome this announcement. So many businesses, especially pubs and restaurants, have adapted their services during lockdown to allow for deliveries and take aways. I am sure these same businesses will ensure a safe and socially distanced return on 4 July.
This has been an extremely difficult and trying time for many constituents and hope from 4 July we are able to safely adapt to our new normal.
