Meeting with Rail Minister

I was pleased to invite Rail Minister Andrew Jones to the constituency today to discuss the London Road crossing with local councillors. Positive, constructive discussions took place regarding funding for possible solutions at the crossing. We await a further update from the Minister by return.

London Road Level Crossing

Barrier down time at the London Road level crossing has long been a cause of concern in Bicester. This is expected to get worse as East West Rail is completed and an increased number of services operate through Bicester.

Dissolution Update

At midnight tonight, Parliament will be dissolved. From that point, there will no longer be any MPs until after the General Election which will take place on 4 July. While Parliament may not be sitting, my office can deal with urgent casework enquiries only via the usual channels.
