It was great to attend SportsAid’s reception at Parliament this afternoon, celebrating their partnership with Entain to support Great Britain’s brightest sporting prospects.
I was really pleased to meet Paul from Banbury while I was there. Paul is a disability shooter and one of SportsAid’s sponsored athletes for 2023. He was telling me about this goal to go to Hanover to gain his international classification and compete in his first international competition.
It was also brilliant to see a series of live demonstrations at the reception, showcasing the talent of some of Great Britain’s future athletic stars.
