I was pleased to sponsor a tree at St. Mary's Church Annual Christmas Tree Festival this year.
I chose to adorn my tree with House of Commons decorations to reflect my role as Member of Parliament for Banbury. They are heraldic symbols of the United Kingdom, like the Portcullis, Tudor Rose and the Lion and the Unicorn. My tree is also decorated with baubles showcasing some of the beautiful designs local children entered for my annual Christmas card competition.
