This has been a very difficult year for everyone, but in particular those facing important public exams. I share the disappointment of so many who worked so hard towards exams they were unable to take because of the coronavirus outbreak. I am very sorry for the distress many students have experienced. I passed on a number of the cases I saw in North Oxfordshire to the DfE and am including a letter below from the Education Secretary, further explaining the change in approach.
