Letter to Planning Inspector following Finmere Landfill suspension notice appeal

In April, a Suspension Notice was served by the Environment Agency to the operator of the Finmere Landfill Facility following the continued mis-management of waste in a number of the cells on the site. Since then, the operator has not taken the necessary steps to remedy the situation and has now lodged an appeal. 

I have written to the Planning Inspector to emphasise my concerns and make it very clear that I see this appeal as nothing other than a delaying tactic.
