Last Friday I met the Chair and Vice-Chair of Chesterton Parish Council and members of the Parishes Against Wolf campaign group to discuss the Great Wolf planning decision. Cllr Ian Corkin joined us. During the meeting we reflected on the process so far and discussed next steps following the appeal, including possible legal options.
It doesn't seem to be possible to ask the Secretary of State to "call-in" the application or recover the appeal at this stage. However, I have reached out to Great Wolf to set up a meeting to discuss how best to mitigate the effects of the development and also requested a meeting with the Highways Team at Oxfordshire County Council. I hope that these meetings can take place in the next few weeks.
