To mark Small Business Saturday, I was pleased to call into Adderbury Stores. I was delighted to see Deepa Bansal, who runs the store with her husband Dave.
Deepa and Dave kept the village store open throughout the pandemic, providing vital supplies and even organising deliveries to local homes. That was why I was honoured to name them one of my Unsung Heroes of the pandemic. I was thrilled to see the certificate hanging proudly on their wall!
Deepa and Dave are a shining example of why we should all support our local businesses in the run up to Christmas.
