Statement on Banbury 20 mph Speed Limit Zone Proposals

Tomorrow morning, Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport Management will be considering proposals to introduce a widespread 20 mph speed limit zone in Banbury.

Despite over two thirds of respondents outright objecting in the public consultation before Christmas, it is worrying that these plans are being recommended for approval unamended.

I have written to Councillor Gant urging him not to ignore the views of Banbury residents. You can read this in full below.
