Fantastic news that Bicester Motion will soon be welcoming Mercedes-Benz-owned YASA Motors to their new Innovation Quarter. Home to a thriving community of mobility businesses past, present and future, the 444-acre estate is a perfect location for the electric motor manufacturer.
With over 400 people employed across several sites in Oxfordshire, the move to Bicester will centralise YASA’s operation and help accelerate the next stage of the company’s growth. Having worked closely with YASA over the past couple of years, I know just how important it was for them to maintain a strong foothold in the area.
£60 million is to be invested in the new Innovation Quarter in the coming years, cementing Bicester’s position as a leading destination for mobility discovery and automotive innovation.
