More than 126,000 meals were claimed in North Oxfordshire under the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, according to the latest statistics. In total, more than 100 million meals were claimed across the UK under the scheme, which ran throughout the month of August.
This has been a very difficult year for everyone, but in particular those facing important public exams. I share the disappointment of so many who worked so hard towards exams they were unable to take because of the coronavirus outbreak.
From Monday many restaurants across the constituency will be taking part in the new Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

Yesterday I spent the morning at Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa to have a look around its facilities and hear from the owners about their experience over the past few months.
From today, it is mandatory to wear a face covering in shops, supermarkets, indoor shopping centres and transport hubs. Under the new rules, should an individual refuse to wear a face covering they could face a fine of up to £100.
